About this font
Open Sans is a free sans serif font by Steve Matteson, on Google Fonts since 2011.
Like everything on Google Fonts it's open source, so you can use it in logos, print, packaging and websites without paying anything. If you plan to modify it for a wordmark, read the licence on its Google Fonts page first.
It isn't on our brand shortlist, which doesn't mean it's no good. We just haven't got round to it.
